A lush under story grass native to much of the Appalachian region . Known to grow in part to full shade, it thrives under minimal light. In the Fall, it produces large 'beaked' seeds that wildlife enjoy, especially wild turkeys. Its a terrific grass for replacing Japanese Stilt-grass (Microstegium vimineum) after its removal.
Live plants come in varying heights, with most being 4" or taller.
