Welcome to our store page. We are a small restoration nursery located just outside of Albany, Ohio. We are passionate about connecting you with quality native plants for any project.
Mission
Our nursery cultivates locally sourced plants native to Southeastern Ohio and the surrounding region. The Appalachian landscape we call home is one of the most biodiverse hotspots in the United States. Dry ridgetops give way to lush valleys teeming with plant life, ideal for sustainable seed collection. We collect small quantities of seed close to home and grow them in nearby greenhouses, keeping the whole cycle rooted in place. We believe everyone deserves access to plants that support local ecosystems, without breaking the bank.
Commitment
Every plant you find here is:
- Pesticide-free — grown without the use of harmful insecticides.
- Sustainably grown — cultivated using locally sourced compost and sustainably harvested peat.
- Built to thrive — we use mycorrhizal fungi starts to increase survivability once planted in the field.
- Locally sourced — Plants started from locally collected seed when possible
